Program Design Specialist

The IFPA Program Design Specialist Certification prepares you to design exercise programs for specific client populations, eliminate training plateaus, and achieve maximum results for your clients. This course covers 40 individual exercise programs to create your own personal training arsenal. The IFPA Program Design Specialist Certification is also designed to teach the student advanced principles in strength training program design.

This course focuses on Biomechanical variations to exercise and ways to manipulate training systems to efficiently train individuals at all levels of fitness. The Program Design Specialist expands upon the exercise principles, safety, and anatomy principles introduced through the Personal Trainer Certification. Successful students are expected to be capable of creating a wide range of safe and effective exercise programs that utilize a variety of exercises for all major groups and for the most important secondary muscle groups.
