I started working as a personal trainer about 5 years ago, training my friends and relatives for free in a local gym. I always loved sports and took part in my school’s basketball and football teams, university’s rugby team and participated in a few power-lifting and bodybuilding competitions. Now I am an IFPA certified personal trainer and I work part time at a local gym as a private personal trainer.
What are some adjectives your clients would use to describe you?
I have earned a lot of nicknames. My favorite is ” THE BEAST,” I gained this nickname through my personal super intense training sessions, and by lifting heavy weights all the time. My clients say that I am very energetic, strict and loud when it comes to motivation. I scream all the time in the gym to push them through my sessions and help them successfully attain their fitness goals.
What made you choose the IFPA?
IFPA is the leading organization when it comes to practical and theoretical fitness education. I received a lot of continuous help and support from the 4Actions academy which assured me that IFPA was the right choice to go for.
How do you keep your clients motivated?
I always try new techniques and change the routines so my clients don’t get stuck in the same programs. We always do indoor and outdoor training and I try to use every mean I can to make every session a challenge.
What is your best success story?
I can start from myself, I transformed from a skinny kid to a powerlifter and a bodybuilder at the same time through consistent training diet and dedication. Lately I have helped my friend and client to lose over 40 pounds of fat and gained 10 pounds of muscles which changed his whole life.
What qualities set you apart from other personal trainers? Education? Experience?
First of all I earned my certification from the IFPA as a certified fitness trainer. My experience doesn’t limit me to anything, I tried bodybuilding, power-lifting, basketball, football and rugby. Now I am working with people who have different goals which differentiate from other trainers. I also hold a Bachelor of Science in banking and finance and seeking my Masters degree in Economics.
How do you envision growing your personal training business?
I hope I can open my own gym facility to contain all kind of sports, fitness , Zumba, crossfit ….
What is your best advice to someone just starting in the business?
My advice is always to keep motivated and don’t let anything or anyone to tell you that you cant do something, because IF YOU WANT YES YOU CAN.
