COURSE DESCRIPTION

The Exercise for Frail Elderly continuing education course is designed to further the knowledge of all fitness professionals with an emphasis on the special needs and common medical conditions of older adults. Learn how these conditions affect Frail Elders’ ability to perform activities and what exercises prescriptions you can prescribe to help them increase strength and functionality. This is not a certification course. It is an educational program to be used by all fitness professionals striving to raise their level of professionalism.

EDUCATION UNITS: 12 CREDITS

The Exercise for the Frail Elderly CEU Course provides trainers with the knowledge, skills and abilities to train frail elders and adults with special conditions, safely and effectively.
