Baked And Glazed Holiday Ham
Baked Ham is one of our holiday favorites...but it is also a great meal to enjoy throughout the year!
- 7 lbs Boneless ham- precooked
- 2 tablespoons Dijon Mustard
- ¼ cup Orange Marmalade.
- Glaze
- ½ cup dark beer
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 3 tablespoons Dijon mustard
- ½ tsp ground ginger
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
Preheat oven 350 degrees
Mix mustard and orange marmalade.
Rub or brush all over the ham.
Place in roasting pan flat side down.
Cover tightly with foil.
Bake for 30 minutes at 350 then turn the temperature down to 325 and continue baking for 45 minutes.
While ham is baking. put all glaze ingredients, except cornstarch in a saucepan, and bring to a boil.
Mix cornstarch with ½ Tablspoon water and add to mixture.
Stir and simmer for about 3-5 minutes. Set aside.
Once the Ham has cooked for 1 hour 15 minutes pull out of the oven and remove foil.
Brush with glaze.
Put back in the oven and increase oven to 450 degrees for 10-12 minutes.
