Crockpot Refried Beans

Ingredients:
- 2 cups dried pinto beans
- 6 cups water
- ½ red onion
- 4 garlic cloves
- ¼ teaspoon garlic salt
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp creole season
- 1 tsp cayenne pepper
Instructions:
After rising pinto beans, place all ingredients in a crockpot and cook on high for 8 hours.
After 8 hours discard onion, drain excess water but keep it reserved.
Using immersion blender (or potato blender) combine until consistency desired using reserved water to help.
Top with cheese and enjoy over chips, cornbread, or your favorite side or layering option.
